SUBMIT A WORK
You go to the office. You go to school. You watch the same reels. You see politicians on the news talk about the same issues again. You watch the same movies being remade, over and over and over and over.
…you go to the office.
Monotony can numb and define our days. In our new issue, STATIC QUO, we invite you to embrace and deconstruct the white noise. Is there something beautiful in the loop? Or something horrifying? We’re excited to find out.
Submit your writing, art, music, short films, or anything in between for a chance to be published in our fifth issue! Submissions are considered on a rolling basis. We welcome submissions from all skill levels, all over the world.
(As always, your pieces do not necessarily have to follow our theme! Any creation of yours will be treasured and considered equally.)
Submit your work through our email (PenAndPaletteOfficial@gmail.com) or our form. (Note: file sizes in the form are limited, so larger works should be sent through our email.)
All submissions should include a title and the name under which the author prefers to be published (please clarify if you would prefer to remain an anonymous submission)! We encourage our submitters to include an artist's statement describing either the process, meaning, or inspiration behind a work, but this is not required. We may reach out to you requesting one if we believe it would be beneficial to your submission.
All works will be reviewed blind by our team of editors.

ANONYMITY POLICY
Submitters for the magazine can choose to submit anonymously! They will be credited as an 'anonymous contributor' on our site. Please indicate in your email or submission form if you would like your full name published (ie Jane Doe), an alternative name of your choice (if appropriate), fully anonymous, or partial anonymity (first name + first initial of last name, ie Jane D). If not indicated we will default to publishing your full name.
