This photo, featuring a moon in light blue sky, captures a moment on my way home during my elementary school in summer. In my memory, winter air tousled our hair as my friends and I strolled back home, with an steaming hot dog in hands. Because it was winter, as night fell earlier, the sky is a deep sapphire blue. While in summer, the sky was a refreshing blue, as refreshing as blueberry soda. With ice-cream melting on hand and birds chirping overhead, my friends and I went home laughing and talking.

All of these night skies fill up my childhood with varying blue, embracing simple and beautiful memories.
